He became obsessed, first with the acquisition of power, then with the destruction of SPIDER-MAN. Every action he has taken since, every evil act he has committed, has been with those two goals in mind.

Clint Barton's reflexes and fighting skills were honed to perfection by an early life spend pulling seemingly impossible physical feats under the lights of the big top. He eventually grew bored with circus life, though, and went in search of bigger, better thrills. Eventually he found them by joining the AVENGERS. Since then, he's battled ninjas, aliens, and super androids, as well as traveled from one end of the universe to the other, first as the marksman HAWKEYE, and now as the swordsman supreme RONIN.

The power of the HULK is legendary, as is the brilliance of the man trapped inside. For years, Bruce Banner fought against his other self, hoping to repress or destroy the HULK. Now, each is reconciled to the presence of the other, and they work in - Banner using his brilliance and the HULK applying the raging strength when intelligence fails.

Daniel Rand is the current bearer of the immortal power of the IRON FIST. He is a living weapon, empowered with the mystical energy of the otherworldly city K'un-Lun. Trained by the immortal fighter Lei Kung the Thunderer, he was already an exceptional fighter when he faced and defeated the dragon Shou Lou, and took his power. With that power, he is capable of healing injuries, adapting to almost any environment, and striking his opponents with superhuman force.
